E.D. Bullard Co. of Cynthiana, Kentucky (founded 1898).
The “Hard Boiled’ introduced in 1919, made of hard canvas, glue, and black paint.
In 1930 Bullard designed and engineered the Company’s first fire helmet and in 1947 they introduced the first fiberglass fire helmet.
