A vintage Georg Albert Fischer violin. The violin has a spruce top, maple ribs and back, and ebony fingerboard, pegs, tailpiece, and chin rest. Marked in printed ink, “Georg Albert Fischer, Mittenwald, Germany, Anno 1970, Copy of Stradivarius, Especially made for Bennett Bros. Inc. Chicago and New York.’ Made in Germany, the violin comes with a wooden bow marked ‘Friedrich” on the end. Included is a fully lined, octagonal wood stick bow marked ’Frederick Zach’ above the frog and ‘W. Germany’ by the screw.

Condition
- some scratches and imperfections to wood at the scroll and C bouts consistent with age and use; center seam splits to the face and to the back, with open seams particularly to the lower bout; missing bridge and strings, the violin and bow are untested; bow will need rehairing and repair to grip, with a slight warp to the right. No case included.
