Jean Burkhalter was a well-known designer, architect, and painter from Auxerre, France. He is know for his paintings and designs of floral and landscape motifs featuring the Burgundy and Auxerre countryside. Burkhalter studied at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris Ecole d’Art Industriel in Grenoble.
