Rick Biehl’s artistic passion started from a young age and carried into well into adulthood. After studying illustration, photography, painting and design in college, Biehl pursued a career in the arts as a commercial artist and artistic director for numerous companies. His realistic sculptures of food and household items created with wood, various mediums and polychromed with acrylic remain his oeuvre. Biehl also touches on iconic pop culture motifs through his two-dimensional pieces that feature nostalgic scenes of nightlife.
