A Wurlitzer grand piano, model C173 and bench. In an ebony satin finish, this 5’8’ grand piano was produced in Korea for Baldwin, to a Baldwin scale design/specifications, serial #65669. Estimated 2000-2004. It features a solid spruce soundboard, maple bridges, maple action components, spruce keys in a mahogany keybed, with a maple and mahogany case construction. Total weight is 684 lbs. It includes brass cast pedals and casters. Please see specification sheet for additional information. Marked ‘Wurlitzer, C173, #65669.’ There is also a matching ebony satin finish piano bench, with ivory tone damask style fabric seat, and cast brass tone feet. In 1995 the Baldwin Piano Company purchased the Wurlitzer name. Manufacturing of the grand piano was moved to Korea by 1996. Some grands were produced by Young Chan and later Samick. After 2004, these grand pianos were manufactured in China. Please note, any additional shown items are not included.
