Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Qum Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Qum wool area rug. The rug is rendered in a palette of garnet, navy, tan, cream, light blue, and bright pink. The rug has a large floral filled pendant medallion to the center of a red field densely populated with florals and scrolling vine work and large cream colored spandrels. The center field is framed with a large primary border of repeating lotus flowers and stylized florals flanked by two secondary borders. The rug is finished with a short natural warp fringe and hand-wrapped selvedges.
