A 1992 ink cartoon illustration prototype by Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist, Jim Borgman (born 1954), best-known for his political cartoons, illustrations for The Cincinnati Enquirer, and the comic strip Zits. The image depicts a satirical illustration of a giant snail with a ‘European Unity’ sign at his side moving toward the ‘High-Speed Conversion lane. Borgman’s signature with a date is present to the top left. The piece is mounted with coordinating matting, behind glass in a black metal frame; equipped to hang.
