Collection of Maisonette Menus
Item Details
A collection of Maisonette menus are food and wine lists from the well known five-star French restaurant in Cincinnati, OH. The Maisonette opened in 1949 by Nathan Comisar and quickly grew to be the longest-rated five-star restaurant in the country. Unfortunately, its doors closed in 2005 and the restaurant contents were auctioned off on October 21-22, 2005. The nine menus also include two VHS tapes titled ‘3 Gents Maisonette’, a certification of authenticity, and a purchasing receipt from the auction. The Maisonette ephemera have become collectible items as pieces of Cincinnati and restaurant history. A link to an article about the auction is located in the additional information.
- EBTH was unable to determine the working condition of the VHS tapes and they are being sold ‘as-is.’ Therefore, refunds based on their working condition will not be offered.
