Antique Fisher Scientific Co. Apothecary Balance Scale
Item Details
An antique Fisher Scientific Co. apothecary balance scale. The case is constructed of wood, glass, and brass. The case box rests on three metal legs, the two in the front are leveling feet. A front glass door raises up to allow access to the interior. Inside are two suspended trays hanging from an incremental bar measure. A plaque to the inside has the company name with increment marks, and a ridged brass-toned knob handle is affixed to the base of the case. Stamped to the exterior base of the scale is ‘Made in U.S.A. A 2430.’
