Item Details
A Joseph Stubbs Staffordshire earthenware transferware plate in blue of the Nahant Hotel near Boston. This plate has eagles to the border and this depiction of the Nahant Hotel has been inspired by an illustration of the hotel that appeared in Caleb Snow’s ‘A History of Boston’ in 1825. This piece is marked to the backside in blue.
