Mining Lamps Including Koehler Safety Lamp
Item Details
A selection of Mining lamps including a Concordia Electric Co. No. 1000 hand lamp, a carbide universal auto lite head lamp by Lamp Co. and a Koehler Safety lamp. Koehler lamps where one of the first lamps to be approved by the United States Bureau of Mines. The flame would burn a slight blue when methane was present and would decrease if there was carbon dioxide in the air.
