Item Details

A Victorian mirrored back mahogany etagere, mid-19th century. The top has a center mirror flanked by smaller side mirrors, with turned supports for small ledges, all under a broken arch pediment with columnar and fluted accents. The center cabinet is bowed, with an octagonal accented glass door. The back panels of the top, as well as the side cabinet doors, have a stippled back with symmetrical floral and urn designs; the pediment has a pair of winged serpents on either side of a stylized plant.
