Elias Ingraham "Amazon" Mantel Clock with Figure

Item Details

An antique mantel clock manufactured by E. Ingraham Co. of Bristol, Connecticut. This clock is the Amazon model, and has a Classical case with four fluted columns to the front and four on the sides, plus a spelter clock topper figure of a seated woman in ancient Roman garb. The figure and the metal columns have a matte grey finish. The clock strikes the hour with a single strike at the half hour.

Condition

- overall; newer figure not attached to clock, dents to columns, chip in glass cover, minor marks and nicks, orn paper label. Several numbers on clock face appear to have been re-drawn in a newer marker or ink. Works are unmarked.
