A 1965 ‘Domain of the Golden Dragon’ United States Navy certificate. Given to members of the U.S. Navy who cross the international dateline, this unofficial award was presented in October 1965 to James W. Beller of the U.S.S. Thomas J. Gary. The certificate features an image of the ship’s route with a dragon and a mermaid at the bottom. The item measures 19 7/8′ × 16 1/8’ and is in good condition.
