Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Lilihan Wool Long Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Lilihan long rug. This wool pile rug features a diminutive diamond medallion on a red field amid an allover herati lattice in forest green, deep blue, ivory, and pale pink. Framing the field are compound guard and secondary borders featuring sawtooth, geometric, floral meander, and running water motifs. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. A label to the reverse reads ‘Made in Iran’.
