Antique "Sheffield Co." Silver Plated Teapot and "S.F." Company Serving Tray
Item Details
A 1920s English made Sheffield silver plated teapot. This antique teapot is marked on the underside with the Sheffield hallmark and the number ‘9109.’ Accompanying this teapot is a two-handed serving tray stamped ‘SF Co.’ and the number ‘74.’ The tray’s surface consists of a repeated intricate scrolled pattern leading to the raised edged borders.
Condition
- marked on the underside “P.S. Co. Sheffield” with the numbers
“9109”.
- the two-handled tray is stamped “74” on the underside.
- the pitcher retains its original attached working lid.
- both pieces exhibit oxidation, some finish loss.
