Military and Fraternal Sword Group Including "Patriarchs Militant" Sword & Belt
Item Details
A collection of military and fraternal swords. This collection features four swords including a Vanguard U.S. Air Force enlisted airmen sword with etched blade and scabbard. Also included are two vintage Knights of Columbus fraternal swords with scabbards, and an antique Independent Independent Order of Odd Fellows Patriarchs Militant presentation sword with scabbard, leather belt and hanger. The sword features a cast brass hilt with leather wrapped grip, globe pommel, opposite swept quillons and shepherd’s crook & sword motif to crossguard. It is accompanied by a steel scabbard with ornate brass mounts. The brass belt plate features the monogram ‘PM’ (Patriarchs Militant).

- wear and loss to handle of Odd Fellows sword; chips to one Knights of Columbus handle; tarnishing to metal throughout; some rust, especially to scabbard of Odd Fellows sword; redrot, cracking and deterioration to leather strap on that sword; some personalized inscriptions on blades.
