Antique Mappin & Webb "The Cabinet" Wooden Liquor Tantalus with Decanters
Item Details
An antique Mappin & Webb The Cabinet wooden liquor tantalus. The tantalus features a brass top handle and a key hole escutcheon to the base. The base is also adorned with a plaque that reads, ‘The Cabinet’, Recd No. 6288 17 June 1880, Mappin & Webb’. It houses three vintage glass decanters with faceted stoppers adorned with Crown Staffordshire bone china labels. The labels bear the maker’s mark to the verso.
