A Renaissance Revival style carved walnut sideboard, mid 19th century. This two-piece unit features a rectangular top lower base with a hutch top featuring a molded pediment over an acanthus leaf and floral carved frieze above floral carved panels and a shelf flanked by carved stiles. The lower base features three aligned drawers with dovetail joinery and knob handles over carved cabinet doors opening to a shelf. This piece terminate on claw feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

- minor scratches and scuffs throughout; chips to edges; beetle holes to back; dust present; left-facing foot heavily marked; repairs visible to back; writing to back; loose escutcheons on key holes; stickers to drawer interiors; top center panel decorative molding loose; missing peg where top part joins bottom; molding damage.
