Danish Modern Teak Executive Desk by Sven Madsen for Sigurd Hansen, Mid-20th C

Item Details

A model SH180 teak executive desk by Sven Madsen for Sigurd Hansen. The rectangular top curves in, with a raised lip to the outer edge, over an open shelf that stretches across the front. The working side has a center pencil drawer with dropped curves to the sides, between a stack of shallow drawers on the left and a filing drawer on the right; the side drawers all have recessed oval handles. It stands on A shaped legs. The Danish Control stamp is on the side of a drawer, while the Madsen/ Sigurd Hansen stamp is on the bottom of another.

- chip to veneer at right corner, loss to finish and markings throughout
