A lithograph titled The Fallowfield Hunt. Breakfast at the Three Pigeons by artist Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin (British, 1870-1935). This polychrome lithograph depicts the chaos of four red coated huntsmen at an English tavern having breakfast. Signed, with patent date 1900 within the margins of the art to the lower right. The art is presented in a black resin frame with a gold tone accent, under glass. The reverse includes a wire and it is ready to hang.
Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin (British, 1870-1935) is known as a painter and watercolorist of animal and sporting scenes. He studied at The Royal College of Art and is known for his illustration of books, including Kipling’s Jungle Stories and various magazines.
