Item Details

A Regency style painted chest from Modern History. The chest has a narrow top drawer and two full width lower drawers. The chest is in a pale olive painted finish with gilded details. The chest has a raised dentil molding to the top, with the drawer fronts outlined with raised trim. All three drawers have dark brass urn-shaped escutcheons with keys. The top drawer features openwork circular banding. The chest has a fluted base apron, gilded chamfered corners and fluted tapered legs.
