Handwoven Turkish Kilim Runner
Item Details
A handwoven Turkish kilim runner. This flat woven wool rug is rendered in a striated palette of teal, lavender, tangerine, sky blue, cranberry, sage, and ivory. It is centered with a trio of large scale diamond medallions, with half-medallions delineating the field. Each long side features a multi-colored running dog border, while the short ends bear a layered triangle motif. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges, an extended kilim skirt, and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
