A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Tabriz wool area rug. Rendered in a palette of navy, crimson, indigo, oatmeal, and rose, the rug features a large center field populated with traditional florals and palmettes connected with scrolling arabesque vines on a navy background. The center field is wrapped with a compound border of repeating florals and geometrics in a complementary palette. It has natural warp fringe and hand overcast selvedges. Unmarked.
