A set of four Official Bicentennial Commemorative Plates made of sterling silver and 24 karat gold by The Franklin Mint. The plates were produced between 1973 and 1976 and depict Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, John Hancock, and Caesar Rodney. They are each marked to their undersides, ‘Solid Sterling Silver Inlaid and Electroplated with 24 Karat Gold’, and have a total approximate weight of 31.705 ozt, inclusive of all materials.
