An antique late Victorian tiger oak Murphy bed. This piece features a rectangular top and shaped back splash with applied molding and two candle shelves flanking a pierced panel. The facade features acanthus leaf applied molding and recessed panels with four knob handles. The facade opens to a pull out mattress frame terminating on tapering feet. The maker’s mark sticker is worn.
