Vintage Four-Poster Canopy Rice Bed

Item Details

A vintage queen-size Charleston rice bed and canopy. The bed has a straight pediment back with rounded corners and a low foot board flanked by four reeded corner posts decorated with carved rice sheaves and swags. The bed is fitted with an optional wood-frame canopy to the top. It is unmarked. The mattress and bedding are not included with this item. The bed is located on the second floor and will need to be disassembled at pick-up.

Condition

- visible scratches, dents, and nicks throughout to the wood and the finishes; one post is loose from the canopy.
