Antique Derby Porcelain Chocolate Cup on Stand ca. 1805-15
Item Details
An antique Derby porcelain chocolate cup with stand. The Regency period pieces feature hand-painted gilt children in a variety of outdoor play scenes with trees and architectural accents to the cobalt blue ground. The cup presents double scroll handles, gilt flowers to the interior of the rim, and a stepped footed base. The cup and stand bear red Derby marks used ca. 1805-15 to the undersides.
