An antique double barrel Joseph Golcher shotgun featuring a walnut stock with cross-hatching below the lockplate and a walnut ramrod with patch worm at one end. This muzzle-loading shotgun has a double trigger action to the percussion cap hammers and engraved scrollwork to the lock plates and engraved acanthus leaves to the trigger guard. The lockplate is engraved ‘Joseph Golcher’ who produced locks along with his brother Joshua between 1830 and 1860. Please note, there is no shipping on this item.
