This work features a forest landscape portrayed with loose textural daubs of cool colors and suppressed detail. The work remains unsigned and unframed.

Joel Whitaker has been with the Visionaries + Voices studios for years unfolding the vast landscape of America. An avid traveler, he takes regular family trips across the country and all of the visual information of traveling is processed and reflected upon in his landscapes. Using an impressionistic style, Whitaker’s work references memory, motion, and seeking something greater.
