A vintage silk bound Japanese Shunga pillow book. This work features thirteen accordion bound gouache paintings on silk depicting graphic scenes of amorous lovers. Silk panels are adhered to golden flecked heavy stock paper bindings with patterned ivory hued silk front and back covers. Book is presented in a navy cloth cover with imitation bone toggles. Work is unsigned.
