An oil painting on board by American artist, Lucian Lupinksi (1918 – 2002). This piece depicts a stylized rendering of a Flamenco dancer painted with loud hues of blue and magenta with accents of peach, pink, and green. It is signed and dated ’67 by the artist to the lower left. Presented unframed.

Raised in Ohio, Lucian Lupinski (1918 – 2002) studied at Ohio State University, the Grand Central School of Art, the Art Students League in New York, and the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He was an artist-in-residence for The Saturday Evening Post. His murals can be found in the Toledo Cathedral, the Museum of Art and Industry in Chicago, and religious buildings in eastern U.S. states.
