Item Details
A circa 1880s Meiji Period antique Japanese handwoven formal crested silk crepe furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist-dyed design, metallic gold couching, multicolored embroidery and surihaku metallic gold leaf accents. This golden yellow kimono features fan, orange wave, drum and kamon motifs. The multicolored fans are filled with Japanese Maple, fawn spot, plum blossom, paulownia tree, bamboo leaf and other motifs. The drums along the hem are filled with kikko hanabishi, shippo, kagome and other patterns. It has five white yuzen resist-dyed kamon crest, two to the chest and three along the shoulders. The interior is lined in red silk.
