Fraternal POSA Sword with George Washington Pommel

A fraternal sword with George Washington head pommel. The sword was made by the Henderson Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a member of the Patriotic Order of the Sons of America (POSA). It features a decorative metal sheath with POSA symbolism, ornate cast handle with leather grip, and decoratively etched blade including original owner’s name, ‘J. J. Jackson’, maker and fraternity.
