An antique 1870 original oil landscape painting on canvas signed and dated in red pigment to the lower right by artist L. F. Wheeler. This charmingly naive landscape with figures is mounted in a beveled wood frame with a gold tone finish, equipped to hang.
Condition
- canvas is punctured at coordinates 12.5" from top edge and 3.5" from left edge. Major accretion across painting. Canvas is rippled throughout. Wear to frame.
