A 2006 signed limited edition serigraph on paper by very well-listed Israeli artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935 – 2012), titled Lady in Gray. This charismatic work is numbered and signed in pencil by the artist to the lower margin, and is mounted behind acrylic glass in a wood frame, equipped to hang. A certiciate of authenticity from Park West is attachd to the verso.

Born on the Yugoslavia-Hungary border, Tarkay’s family was forced into Mauthausen Concentration Camp in 1944 and freed a year later by the Allied forces. Tarkay went on to travel the world, creating a following for his distinct style. He says that he paints by instinct, and can no further explain his use of color as he can his own handwriting.
