This still life painting depicts a collection of folded bedding and table linens on a Louis XVI style armchair with a bundle of lavender lying on top of the pile. It is painted in a cool palette of lilac, sea green, and light blue. The work is signed to the lower right, labeled to the verso, and presented behind a French mat and glass in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.
