An original vintage oil painting on canvas by 20th-century American artist Roy Pierce. The painting depicts a grizzled man smoking a cigarette as warships float on a body of water behind him. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
Condition
- craquelure across painting’s surface. White spotted accretion to lower half of painting. A few very small chips to surface of painting.
