Item Details
An antique Rookwood Pottery commemorative mug by Sallie E. Coyne , dated 1905. It features a ceramic body with a dark to medium dark graduated standard brown glaze and railway mail bag to the front. This mug was produced as a commemorative piece for the Railway Wail Service convention in Cincinnati in 1905. The mug bears the Rookwood ‘RP’ logo with the Roman numerals ‘VI’. There is a brief dedication on the underside, Sallie E. Coyne’s artist mark, and an ‘X’ denoting the mug has an imperfection.
