A 1738 portrait engraving of Sir Nicolas Bacon. This print was published in London by J & P Knapton. The plate was drawn by Frederico Zucchero (1590-1609), engraved by J. Houbraken of Amsterdam and printed on laid paper. ‘In the Collection of his Grace the Duke of Bedford’ is printed to the lower center. This engraving was published in a collection by T. Birch titled, The Heads of the Most Illustrious Persons of Great Britain, also printed by J.Knapton of London in 1743.
