A hand-colored lithograph on paper after the circa 1649, engraved map Vienna, Austriae by Matthaus Merian the Elder (Swiss, 1593 – 1650). This print features a birds-eye view of the walled city of Vienna with the Danube River visible to the foreground. It is presented behind a brown mat, under glass, in a gold tone wood frame and is ready to hang with a wire.
