Signed Sebastiano Maglio Haeger Vase and Vessels
Item Details
A selection of Haegar hand thrown art pottery by master potter Sebastiano Maglio (Italy, active 1963-1995). This collection features a vase with a wide lip, hourglass neck, and a rounded body that tapers to a circular base. Also offered is a pitcher with a bulbous body and attached loop handle, as well as a bowl with a rolled rim, wide mouth, and deep well. Each piece features a mottled cream and maple glaze throughout, with a rich amber tone applied to the bases. Incised to the underside of all is ‘Haeger, S. Maglio’.
