A chinoiserie mother of pearl inlaid grandfather clock by the Wai Hing Clocks Co. This clock has a cherry finished wooden case with an ornate mother of pearl inlay design featuring floral, and bird motifs throughout the front, with a scene to the plinth base. The case features a Chippendale style with a broken pediment to the bonnet, turned half columns flanking the pendulum door, a molded plinth base with carved apron. The metal clock face has a gold and silver tone, while displaying black Roman numerals, serpentine hands, and a Tempus Fugit movement. It is visibly unmarked.
