Item Details

An 1862 Civil War enlistment paper from the 155 Pennsylvania Infantry Volunteers. The civilians enlisted at Camden, New Jersey on April 10, 1862. Pay scales and dates are listed with signatures from a James McNeil, Richard Dillow, Michael Connelly and a Michael Murphy. The paper is long in length and has been folded in half. A newspaper from 1865 is included; the paper is called Providence Daily Journal and its’ dated ‘Friday Morning March 24, 1865’.
