Reproduction Willard Patent Banjo Wall Clock with Reverse Glass Painting
Item Details
A reproduction Willard patent banjo clock. This clock has an oak case with openwork brass side columns to the waist that is accented with a glass panel in an Americana theme. The pendulum case has a glass front with a reverse glass painting depicting two clipper ships battling, which is signed ‘L. Abrams 83’. The cream colored metal clock face displays black Roman numerals, a chapter ring, spade tipped hands, and a single key arbor behind a hinged glass door with a brass bezel. The clock is accented with gold finished rope accents, and offers a brass finished pendulum and key. It is unmarked.
