Item Details

An antique, Anglo-Indian Kutch sterling silver repoussè teapot, mid to late 19th century. It features embossed floral and blooms throughout along with bird-like spout. The foots have casted shields of more bird motifs. There is an angular handle with diamond-shaped motifs along with floral designs. At the center is a shield cartouche monogrammed, ‘Pro Libertate Partie’ along with a raised arm and sword, similar to the Scottish crest for Clan Wallace. Additionally, the hinged lid is marked to the inner lip with an unidentified hallmark. Total item weight is 15.665 ozt.
