A stunning vintage hand-carved walnut burl walking stick with distinctive top featuring a hand grasping a stick or rolled paper. The hand is finished with a cuff accented by four incised circles representing buttons. The shank of the stick exhibits a gloriously carved foliate pattern with sinuously curving leaves distinguished by deeply incised veining. The stick has a patina-ed silver metal tapered end sleeve with recessed tip. A marvelous and unique piece for the refined collector!
