1947 Chevy 1/2 Ton Lift Bed Pickup

A 1947 Chevy Advance Design pickup with a 1952 Chevy LoadMaster body. A survivor truck, not a restoration vehicle, having a wood slat stake side, hydraulic lift dump bed which currently has grain dump sides installed. Comes with an extra set of wood side/front rails for easier access. Transmission is 4 speed Hi/Lo manual shift.
It is powered by a 216 cubic inch 3.5L I6 carbureted engine. It has dual, side-mounted fuel tanks. The original tank from the ‘52 body is not being used.
Originally a working farm truck from Kansas, lettering to side reads ‘Dalton Bros. Farm, Dry Creek Kansas’. More recently the vehicle has been used for advertising, promotion, driven in car shows and used in sporting events like the Cincinnati Reds opening day parade; see photos for details.
VIN # 5JPL1744 with odometer reading at 82000 at the time of cataloging. Note the odometer does not appear to be working and the title also notes the odometer reading may not be original.

Condition
- fair considering age. In driving road condition, worn and weathered patina to the truck and bed. The carburetor has recently been rebuilt and may need some adjusting. The hydraulic dump is in working condition. The interior light and most of the exterior lights work, however, the brake lights and turn signals are not currently functioning. Due to its age this truck was not built with and has never had seat belts installed. Passenger window rolls down but falls off track. It needs help rolling back up and needs adjusting or repair.
