Item Details

An antique horse-drawn cutter style open sleigh by Ahlbrand Carriage Co., late 19th to early 20th century. The red- and black-painted frame has an orange-upholstered seat and bench with red gimp trim and it rides on scrolled, wood and iron rails. The sleigh is further embellished with eagle’s head terminals and a boot scrape. It retains a label plaque reading ‘Ahlbrand Carriage Co. / Seymour, Ind.’
