Vintage Duncan Phyfe Style Lyre Back Chair by Culler with Kneehole Desk
Item Details
A vintage Federal style kneehole desk with Duncan Phyfe style side chair by Culler Furniture Company. This set includes a rectangular top desk with mahogany finish and beveled edges over a kneehole drawer flanked by three stacked drawers to each side. The dovetail joinery drawers feature metal oval plates with bail handles. This piece terminates on bracket feet. Also includes a Duncan Phyfe style chair with curved crest rail and lyre shaped splat over a floral upholstered slip seat. The chair rises on fluted sabre legs. The chair is marked ‘Culler Furniture Company’ to the underside.
